I have this recorded as I usually like John Malkovich (although I’m more used to seeing him in the villain role), but I’ve also never watched Poirot (just seeing David Suchet reminds me of Allo Allo for some reason!), so I’m hoping that as I am a Poirot blank canvas as it were, that I might enjoy it?

I love David Suchet's Poirot and to me, he is the definitive one but gave this a go and I think it was a good dramatization. Definitely strange seeing John Malkovich as Hercule but the final part of the trilogy was fabulous

I’m of an age where my first Poirots were Peter Ustinov and Albert Finney, and for some reason I never took to David Suchet. Watched the ABC Murders and enjoyed it, agree that Malkovich presented a much more troubled Poirot than those in the films I’d seen years ago.

Loved it, thought it very thought provoking and have always adored John Malkovich even tho he usually scares the life out of me. Brilliant actor & love him in the RED films.
