I watch very little TV now. There was a time when there were far too many talent type shows where someone was voted out each week or whatever. The I’m a Celebrity series where the same person was voted to do the challenge every time (Gillian someone?) finished it for me, I’ve not watched it (or anything like it) since. I’m not into soaps and if OH wants to watch Eastenders, I’ll retreat to the kitchen and find something to do! There are still a few programmes I’ll sit down to watch but they are only on for a few weeks each year. I’d rather listen to music and read. It’s all about viewing numbers though, if these reality shows weren’t popular, they’d stop making them so lots of people must like them.

No you are not alone. Far too much of these reality tv shows. I hardly watch tv these days. Prefer films from Netflix and NowTv or a good book. We also go to the cinema on a regular basis. Btw can't stand adverts either.
