Uber alone...

Has anybody used Uber when travelling solo? I’m a young female doing a solo trip and wanted to go to universal for a day and would need to take an Uber or lyft.
Anybody had any experiences? TIA

I went on a shopping trip to Target on my own but it was back in the days before Uber. I used a Mears Taxi which the hotel front desk got for me. If it was me I'd probably book a Mears again but I'd be interested to hear what others think.

I would do the same.

I go solo but always hire a car. I stick to main roads in busy areas. I might stay out late if I'm at a park, knowing that the car parks and roads will be busy when I leave, but I don't go to places like Walmart or Florida Mall if it would mean leaving when its dark.

I'm not particularly nervous, just sensibly cautious.

No experience when travelling but I will use Uber on my solo trip this year.

I use Uber all the time alone here so see it no differently.

I used Lyft a few times solo in September ... no issues whatsoever.
I actually feel safer in a Lyft or Uber than a taxi off a stand as the whole trip is tracked and my phone will have the car details, photo of driver and his name.

same here, I have used Uber in Orlando as a solo female traveller, and as a couple of females, I also feel safer using Uber/Lyft as the journey is fully tracked.

Exactly this.

I went solo and used Uber/Lyft all the time to get around and never felt unsafe. It was super easy & convenient as well
