Pint of Downeast Cider please. Boston 2018 Part 3

We were quite looking forward to visiting Harvard and with that in mind, set off up to the subway over the bridge to catch the Red line to the University. The subway is very easy to navigate and we were soon out on the street. The buildings were so familiar that it was a bit strange.
It was a simple case of crossing the street and entering into the campus.

We werent experts on Harvard by any means so we decided to walk around taking everything in and smelling the coffee, so to speak. I loved seeing all the things I recognised from the tv etc. and passed a good three hours there.
We headed back to the city and grabbed something simple for lunch and ended up back on the common, where Leander spotted an Irish bar.
Another pint of Downeast Cider, please barman. We watched a bit of the Pats-Jets game but only had the one drink as we were getting a bit fed up of the "strong Irish" accent of the bar staff, the more you were in the tourist area. Think Dick Van Dyke for the Americans or Epcot for us. "Cor Blimey, guvnor hows your apples and pears?"
Back to the hotel and by the bridge along from Quincy Market, we came across a normal Irish bar with a normal Galway barman. Another pint of Downeast Cider, please barman. We got to the hotel, tried the swimming pool and changed to go out for food.
We stayed down in the Seaport area and came across a Wagamama, where Leander fancied a simple chicken and noodle dish. I had the Firecracker and asked for it very hot . I can eat hot food, but WOW I got through it like a true rugby Welshman and had to have a massive ice-cream on the way back.
It was a comfortable night in the hotel where we packed ready to go home the next day, so we could have the day to ourselves without the luggage being the elephant in the room.
Yeah, got to say visiting Harvard was almost spiritual as to be in Fishguard one day and Harvard the next, was an experience I still cant quite grasp
