My mom had the DORO one and I don't think it's simple to use at all. you have to scroll through menus for both numbers to call and the find texts. Even I found it complex
If you only need a few numbers on it you can get special phones which just store 5 numbers and on the front are 5 buttons with the person's name next to them. I was considering one of these for mom after she gave up texting at age 93.
