Anyone know London buses?

What's the best way to get from Kings Crolss to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre?

Also what is the best app for navigation around London?

Thanks

Try Tfl.gov.uk I don’t know that route but the website will.

Or google maps work well as well with public transport in London.

I always use Google maps or City Mapper to get around London. Used City Mapper in most big cities and it has never let me down

I can't make head nor tail of the tfl site... I think its OK if you already know what route number you want.

Do you have an iPhone? I use the maps on there and just click ‘transport’ instead of ‘drive’ and it will give you exact routings.
This is what it tells me to get to Shakespeares Globe from Kings Cross

It’s really not far from London Bridge Station, nice walk along the river. We were there just yesterday and visited Borough Market.

Citymapper is the best App for navigating London - It says the 63 or 45 but also tells you what bus stop you need to go to and when the next bus is arriving etc. so it’s really handy.

City Mapper is fab in London, I still work in the city and always use it over TFL and the like. Especially for buses since you get the live times.

To get from King's Cross to the Globe, I would actually take the tube (Northern line, southbound towards Morden) to London Bridge and then walk from there. Alternatively you can cross the street to St Pancras station and take the Thameslink train (southbound towards Brighton) to Blackfriars and walk from there.

But if you need a bus only journey, the best way would be the 45 (towards Clapham Park) or 63 (Honour Oak) and get off at Blackfriars station, south entrance - it's the second Blackfriars stop, after you cross the river. Then walk along the river to the Globe. Both depart from Stop D at Kings Cross, so I'd get whichever arrives first. The stops are labelled but it's the main one as you exit from the station - hard to miss!
