Mobile Tips please

I have only ever been to DLP as an infant! But been to WDW Florida a few times before. But this November I will be going to DLP staying at the Kyriad hotel.

Any tips what so ever to help me we will be there from the 28th nov - 1st Dec, so got 2 full days and one half day in theory. Want to plan where we will be able to do the big rides with as little wait as poss.

Also tips on food;
Tips on the shows;
Tips on the hotel;
Tips on Disney shuttle;
Tips on Disney shopping;
Tips on fast passes (can we book online before we go etc)

Also if anyone’s stayed in this hotel please can you let me know if we get magic hours, I’ve heard we do and I’ve also heard we don’t so if someone could clear that up it would be great! Looking forward to hearing from you all!

Thanks

Danny

First, you do not get the Extra Magic Time when staying at the Kyriad. Only the on-site hotel and high level Annual Passholders will have access.

You are going at a typically quiet time but I've noticed your dates cross into the weekend. You will notice that the Saturday will be considerably busier than any other day. It's for this reason that I'd recommend doing any of the Christmas shows on this day and focus on the rides on the other days.

Disneyland Paris operates the free fastpass system so you will be able to get one timeslotted ticket from any fastpass attraction and then once this time is here you can then get another and so on, until all the fastpass tickets have been allocated. I'd recommend that you try to get fastpasses for Big Thunder Mountain and Peter Pan first as these tend to go the quickest.

Disneyland Paris is much, much smaller than WDW so you really won't need a full touring plan, just make a list of your "must do" rides and attractions and then use the queue time app to work out when best to do them.

You're going the exact same dates I went in 2018 although we stayed onsite at Cheyenne.

We were there Thursday - Saturday and I was really shocked at how busy Saturday was compared to Thurs + Fri. I knew it was going to be busier but never expected how much busier. Luckily we had EMH so got the two coasters we hadn't yet done (Crush + Ratatouille) done with about a 20 min wait for each before the crowds descended then did the Xmas shows, which are excellent. We had done all the other main rides the previous two days thankfully.

We never actually used Fastpasses whilst we were there just due to the ride times being low anyway, the only FP we tried to get was for Space Mountain but it was broken down most of the day so we never ended up going on it in the end.

You'll have a fab time. The Xmas decorations are so beautiful down Main street I cried when I saw them

You won't get magic hours staying at the Kyriad unless you have one of the higher level annual passes. The parks officially open at 10am usually, but they will actually let you in earlier (around 9.30) so try to get there early by around 9.20.

Fastpasses are like the way WDW used to be, not the current online system they have now. I would recommend getting Peter Pan, Ratatouille and Thunder Mountain early as these are most popular. The other fast pass rides usually still have some available in the afternoon/evening.

The shuttle to the Kyriad is shared with 4 other hotels as far as I'm aware and can get extremely busy at park closing. I would recommend leaving either just before the parks close/fireworks end or hand around in the shops on main street or disney village before heading back.

Another tip for low wait times is to get in line for rides close to park closing as they are very short. We have done Big Thunder Mountain 3 times in a row in the last 15 minutes before when the queues have been over an hour all day.

As mentioned the main problem will be Saturday. Lots of locals go on a Saturday, that is why it is busy. As people have said do most of the stuff on the other days. Don’t get into rushing around trying to get a lot fine in Saturday. Enjoy the theming and do what you can.
