When we stayed our room overlooked a carpark 😒
But we were out of the room so much it didn't matter. It was actually really quiet too. But it's not that expensive if you were planning on spending more time in the room. For me, I'd rather spend it in Sephora 😀 |

It's not something I'd pay for personally as the rooms at POR don't have balconies. There's a covered walkway outside your window, so you don't really take in the view to be honest. We've had all different view types and have never sat in our room looking out of the window at them.

Agree with Vickie, I wouldn't bother with view upgrades at any moderate due to the exterior walkways.

I wouldn’t bother. We’ve had a standard room twice and a preferred room last year, twice we were overlooking the quiet pool and last year a garden view. There aren’t that many rooms that are car park view so your chances of not getting one is probably quite high.

My room was facing the river but I never looked out the window to be honest. I was however going out to sit by the river for my morning coffee!
