Magic Bands

Hi,

We're due to check in to wilderness lodge on 4th September but we have park tickets for that day too. The website says check in is from 3pm. Can we collect our magic bands on the way to the park and then check in later or will we need to use the standard tickets for the first day and magic bands after that?

You can check in as early as you like to get your magic bands, but your room might not be ready until 3pm

Or use your park tickets as normal and collect magic bands later on in the afternoon when you check in (saves messing around in the morning at check in - if you are keen and eager to head straight to the park)

You can check in as soon as the system resets for a new day, usually between 6-7am. It's highly unlikely your room will be ready that early, but you can leave your luggage with bell services to be delivered once it is. Then head off to the park.

And if you booked using the free dining offer (or purchased the dining plan) your dining credits will then be available to use for lunch that day rather than paying for anything OOP.

Finally, if your park choice that day is MK, I'd definitely recommend checking in beforehand as you can then park at the resort (assuming you're driving) and get the boat over to MK. Much quicker and quieter than going via TTC - especially exiting the park.
