How are the “New Year Diets” Going?

Started 3rd January and have lost a whopping ... 2lbs but at least it’s a loss. It’s keeping to my usual tradition of a lb a week so hopefully nearly a stone off by end of March.

Lost 6lbs on week one, I do have around 4 stone to lose though. I'm calorie counting on my fitness pal, walking twice a week and have just started aquacise at a local pool. Hate being fat, makes my anxiety worse so got to do it

I'm counting calories on my fitness pal and exercising at classes. Lost 5lb since last Saturday so am pretty pleased with that. When I'm struggling I just picture myself in front of the Disney castle!

I stated on 2nd Jan... dry January , slimming world & upping excercise... lost 10lbs so far... 9lbs to go until target (then might try for another 6lbs after that) I have treats on weigh in day but so far not feeling like I am doing with out... got my Fitbit back on too lol 😂
Need to fit into my holiday clothes for next year is my inspiration... so far so good!

Oh wow ! Loads doing really well. I’ve only lost 2lb this week but walking the dogs a bit more to get my steps up and been cutting back more so hopefully a few more down on Monday. It really does motivate you (me anyway) seeing others results

I did great the first week, lost 5lb, then good for a few more days, then got ill and did a lot of comfort eating, now trying to get back to my good place because I have a lot to lose in very little time!

So no major changes to my diet so far this year (trying to cut down a bit on snacking), but have been running lots - about 45km so far since the start of the month!

However - I have plans to start Invisalign - if they go ahead then my snacking will be drastically cut down!

Wow glad to see so many are still going! It’s amazing what being in the right mind frame can do. Positive mental attitude all the way!

7lb off in first week, pretty much sticking to it with walking and tracking my food on the fitbit app. Actually doing better than I thought so far.

Goal is 2 lb a week between now and September, and I'll be happy.
