Just gone back to slimming world today! Took a break as I couldn’t face it while pregnant lol. Still weigh half a stone less than when I started in July 2017 which isn’t bad given that I had a baby in April 2018 😊 2.5-3 stone is my goal!

Mines going mixed so far! Due to various family problems in the first couple of weeks of the year I've been totally exhausted and living on biscuits and chocolate to keep me going! But I've pulled myself back together the last few days so it's not all bad. Even though I am 5/6 stone overweight I am no longer capable of the large losses I used to get at the start of a diet so hopefully a lb or two off on Monday. Not too disheartened though, trying to concentrate on changing my relationship with and attitude to food over the last year or so and into the future rather than too much crash dieting. Lost 1 stone last year, want to try and lose 3 this year...
Well done to everyone! |

Am having a lie in and can smell bacon.
Am going to have words with my husband! Don't know what is best option + Him to ignore me and not give me a sandwich + Him to love me and bring me a sandwich. + Cut off my nose. (I am being a lazy mare yes - but in my defense was up til 4 collecting DD from her birthday socialising !) Edited at 11:25 AM. |

him to love you and NOT bring you a sandwich (if thinking rationally!)
A bacon sandwich would be bad for your weight, your heart and high in carbs, so affecting blood sugar too. Think of it as a (really tasty) heart attack on a plate and he is doing you a favour by getting rid of it... |

To stay on track can I suggest you treat your eating plan like a tradesman doing a job, you have all the tools available to you but you must pick the right one that works for you to achieve the task in hand, if you don’t pick the right tool you will probably still get there but it may take you a little longer.
