Ahhhh IPhone dropped down the loo!

Phone is currently sat in a bowl of rice in he airing cupboard. Any other advice anyone?

If it wasn’t in long it should be ok, I did it in Cineworld thankfully in a clean bowl , I’ve never left my phone in my back pocket since

Yes i’m glad to say it was an unused toilet 😂

Did you do the rice trick? How long did it take to start working again.
i did take it out pretty quick.

Just overnight but it was in literally seconds , mines a 5s but I think the newer ones are water resistant

iPhone 7 onwards should be fine in water.

My son in law dropped his iPoo 6s down the toilet - just before he flushed it. It was an insurance job.🤢

I dropped mine down the toilet too. But then I tried to charge it to dry it out 😂 (I later found out that's worst thing to do as you fry it) after a few days it was still not working and I was advised to put it in the fridge for a couple of days. This worked! Lol
That was 3 years ago. it's been handed down to family and is still going

Ummm. A typo?

Insurance job? Not sure if you meant it was an insurance scam, or it was so badly damaged that you had to claim off insurance. 😁
