Mobile Food Banks in Florida

While the government employees continue to work without pay I am assuming there is some dreadful hardship over there.
We are going over next week, are there any food collection places? I have always thought it heart breaking the amount of food thrown away when people leave Villas, hopefully this will change now.

Supprised us how many more homeless are on the streets this time we went. Went to eola park for a walk about and visitors were outnumbered by the homeless on the benches and walking around. But not one approached us asking for anything.

So sad and difficult to understand the hardship Trump is knowingly causing to so many decent hard working Americans because he can't get his stupid wall funded.

We always take our unused food to reception which is always gratefully received by the staff , most are on low incomes .

We stopped walking around Lake Eola a couple of years ago, can only imagine how much worse it has become.

I'm afraid I don't know of any, but this is such a thoughtful thing to do - would be interesting to know what you do with it so we can do the same when we're there next year.

MVC resorts have a food collection point in the foyer, we left a fair bit when we packed

I also had a few bottles of beer left and went and attempted to give it to the guys cutting the grass and tree's, they said they couldnt take it and it needed to go in the trash i just put it in the food collection point, they might have used them ? ?

Did not realise things had gotten so bad at WDW. Normally leave unused toiletries etc but never food.
Something to consider doing later in the year Oct/Nov when we are there.

Does anyone know if there are any problems at the airports at arrivals or departures.

Was in Las Vegas the other month and as always have a car, we was around 10 miles east of vegas and the homeless population was unreal. With out sounding out of hand, it got to the point where the roof on the mustang had to be closed (because i trust NO ONE who are clearly high on drugs/drink) because the amount of people at traffic lights wandering over was unreal coming over begging/demanding cash or sending kids over to ask. Its a very sad situation ... im talking maybe 20 plus people on a junction begging.

Though Vegas has created a lot of these problems...
