Yes that is why we booked the inclusive tickets for USS Midway, as I was undecided too so thought if I spend the money now - we will go in for a bit, but if it came to parting with money there, I would probably think it wasn't worth it for a short while - strange logic I know.

Your US themed tea sounds fab, what a great idea - what are you having?

Burger, fries and onion rings with Apple pie and icecream for dessert kids picked it

What they don't know is I've ordered Stars and Stripes napkins, bunting and those little flags that you put in the burgers

It was great!



We had burger, fries and onion rings and then apple pie and ice cream for dessert

I got bunting, napkins and flags on sticks from Amazon and it was like having a mini party. The kids loved it

Anna took one look at her meal and said 'This is why I love America!'

So officially in double digits now. I can't believe how quickly the time is going. Not much left to book now really, just lots of holiday clothes to buy. Oh and I'm still checking everyday to see if those PE outbound seats have come down Still at £150 each

Yes we have done most things now, only a few things to do - and stuff we can't do yet - like book Alcatraz tickets, book dining reservations at Disney and I haven't booked airport parking yet. Last year I booked airport parking early and then US Airways changed which terminal they flew into and out of at Manchester so I had to change my booking and it cost me to change it - so leaving it a bit nearer the time this time .

So as this holiday is nearly organised I am starting to plan our Aug 16 trip to Florida
