I love FoP, probably my favourite ride in all of WDW. I actually had a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes the first time I rode it.
Is it just me or does James Cameron have really tiny hands compared to John Landau and Joe Rohde?
I bet EE was great fun in the rain. As we also go in August I know of the torrential weather that brings, some of my favourite memories are when it’s raining cats and dogs. Us hardy Brits are made of stronger stuff than the Floridians
I can’t believe the prices of food within WDW now, it’s crazy expensive especially compared to offsite . Thank god for the free Dining Plan!
As much as you’ll miss the Yacht Club I bet you’re looking forward to some space and downtime at the villa, always our favourite part of an Orlando holiday. Looking forward to reading about it!

Thanks for such a lengthy reply

Nemo is a show that provokes such a range of opinions, I have to watch it up close as from the back it is lost amid the noise of the theatre and the whole show is lost. We always sit in the front bit and as a result take far too many photos and cry too

It is my most favourite show and if you put it on your list for your next trip - please feel free to PM your thoughts. We have had so many discussions on our podcast about it that I feel the more people I share the Nemo show with then it can only help to erode the marmite view of the show.

As for FoP - your lump in the throat is every single time - it is such an incredible feeling and I only hope the new Avatar movie eeks out the ride into a 2 hour movie

The hands pic is such a great quiz question and just keep the names and hand sizes noted points in the bag there !

Everest in the rain was fab and an experience that needs to be done!
You can always spot a Brit on a winter WDW holiday as they are the ones in shorts whilst Floridians are in coats

Without DDP - buying food onsite is a joke and you will se just how much our eating habits change when we move int o the villa.

Totally agree with you about that part of the holiday though - as much as we have loved staying at The yacht club, the space, pace and downtime in a villa just sweeps you all up.

Hope you enjoy reading about it as we certainly hit the villa with a few days of a bump!

It was needed though .

Hope you enjoy the rest of the journey with us

Brilliant day, I've never seen the handprints on FOP before, need to remember to look for that next time. At least you never let the rain spoil your fun

Florida in August - never let the rain get you down! It is so different from rain at home.

Delighted you enjoyed reading about the day and the little handprint theming on Flight of Passage. There is a challenge for your next trip

Thanks for reading and hope you enjoy the rest of the trip with us

A great end to your Disney leg of the trip. Glad you finally got the pic of the eagle! Nice touch with the hand prints on the way out of FOP! I didn't spot that last time and will look out for it when we eventually get back! It sounds like you made the most of your time and without rushing either! Well planned!

We are also big fans of The Polite Pig. Great food and a lovely setting. We popped into Disney Springs last year on our Universal trip just for the Ribs!

Looking forward to seeing what comes next.

Polite Pig was a great way to spend the evening and the food was soooo Good, a fantastic addition to Disney Springs and one we will certainly be returning to.

Keep an eye out for the handprints, they take some finding as it depends which exit you come out of the ride.

That pic of the eagle still bugs me - I love Everest as a ride and most people complain about the Yeti - my moan is about the Eagle at the summit!

Thanks for your continued reading - really appreciate your words too. It does give me the Strength to get to the end
