Around the roundabouts in Scotland day 3

Boobie doo we are going to the Zooo

After another brew on the patio watching the waves and some toast with Blacketyside Jam on we set off to Edinburgh zoo around a roundabout 3 times again (sure it was the same one as last time!) over the Fourth road bridge we go and I try to take pics out of a moving car (tell Ste to slow down lol he tells me to b****r off!) Giving Myra a wave as we pass signs for the airport
We arrive at the zoo skipping the massive queue & get in free courtesy of Mr Tesco First thing we see are these lazy fellas, then this chap beats on the window don't think he likes an audience lol Not sure what kind of animal this is but he's an endangered species (Believe me the cheek he gives he really is!) Then its on to watch the penguin parade I sooo wanted to pinch one of these but had to make do with a feather Reece picked up, we also see a pigmy hippo with her baby sooo cute, we then see this big fella taking it easy in the sun & these chaps are playing tig lol When we have seen everything we decide to go into the shop where Reece gets a koala teddy and buys me a snowleopard bookmark (he can be sweet when he wants to)
Then we head out and go to the Toby carvery for tea OMG it was gorgeous and I had to undo my top button in the car going back I had eaten that much Then its back over the bridge and guess what we miss our exit so after a looonnnggg tour of the motorway finally come off at a junction and go around yet another roundabout twice before we decide which exit we need we find our way back to the cottage & after a large glass of Magners its off to bed listening to the waves

I'm not keen on Edinburgh Zoo, glad you didn't have to pay as I think it's way too expensive for what you get... and that hill

Glad you had a good day... I'm sure no one would have thought "hey, crazy lady" when they saw you waving at the airport!
I'm the opposite of Marion... I love the zoo...but maybe its becasue I feel so "at home" there

We loved it & didn't mind the hill (honest!) but I agree it is a little expensive if you have to pay lol

I was at Edinburgh Zoo last Monday it was really good but was knackered by the time I got to the top!
