I bought my eternity ring myself and still wear it but my engagement and wedding rings have been sat in a box for 6+ years.

Sent my wedding ring to Hatton garden metals for scrap gold. Sold my engagement ring for peanuts really just didn't mean anything and I had bills to pay. I've sold most of the jewellery I had I've only kept one ring and a pair of earrings from that time.

I had a new bespoke ring made from my wedding, eternity and engagement rings. It’s beautiful and is a reminder of happier times.

My wedding ring is at the bottom of Lake Disney at DLP - wasn’t worth much in scrap and was very cathartic.

Mine were weighed in for gold and my then bf (now DH) and I used it to towards the flights for a mini-break!

Sold mine to a local jeweler for an acceptable price and it paid to carpet my entire new house I bought with my part of the divorce settlement

Mine sat in an old handbag for years and eventually got lost somewhere along the way. My engagement ring was fifty quid and second hand, my wedding ring was very very thin as it was his grandmothers... I of course offered them back to him but was told in no uncertain terms that he wasn't interested, didn't care, and I was not to contact any member of his family... and the two year divorce hideous event kicked off. He stopped seeing the kids after six months, so had he not been such a (insert expletives here) I would probably have taken a bit more care if them to let the kids do what they wanted with them when they were grown up. I had no interest in selling them, I wouldn't have wanted anything from the money it would have just been a reminder of all the badness. I do regret now, after reading this thread, at not chucking them into the lake at dlp when I went with the kids once it was all settled as a "this is our new beginning" holiday!

I sold my wedding ring, I still have my engagement ring and eternity ring, I am thinking of getting them made into a ring for my daughters 21 st birthday next year, I think there is a Dibber who has a jewellers not to far from us so may explore this. Not sure why I have kept them for 11 years but they are nice diamonds and not sure I would get that much for them .
