Booking Port Adventures

We are able to book our Port Adventures tomorrow for our Northern European Cruise in September. Does anyone know what time it opens for us to do it here in the UK? Are they likely to be sold out quickly or can I wait until after I've done the school run?

We booked ours for our Norwegian fjords trip a few weeks ago as gold members and whilst we were able to get everything we wanted, friends that are only silver level were upset as a few things had already sold out - seemed that the onboard cocktail type events were very popular.

Depending on what you are wanting to book and what ‘level’ you are, it might be worth getting up at the 5am opening time - although as a gold member I totally forgot until I read about it on Facebook at 9am and as I say, I managed to get everything I wanted including the popular mixology class 👍

I know it’s a different cruise, but as far I know, no one I know on our cruise who was silver had a problem booking excursions (I checked the night before silver bookings opened for someone on our cruise, and the only sold out things were the Mixology session and the private vehicle hire with a driver option in one port).

If you want any of the cocktail making sessions then I recommend getting up at 5am and booking those first and then doing the excursions - on our cruise, the adults only tours seemed more popular (despite it being the British school holidays, Americans have already gone back, so guess there will be less children onboard? Certainly there was wide open availability for the character breakfast, meet and greets and bbb boutique etc).

Good luck 👍

Are you in a Facebook group for your cruise? The reason I ask, is because as a gold member I was able to go online for a few of our silver members to check the night before on availability for the things they wanted, so that they knew which things to attempt and which were sold out.

If by tastings you mean the Mixology/ cocktail classes, then certainly on our cruise, the only silver members that got any slots were those that tried for those first of all - the people that went for their excursions first ended up missing out on the mixology session.

As for Rémy, I know on our cruise only the Palo brunch is sold out (we are on the Magic so no Rémy), there are still opening times for Palo dinner available - although by the end of opening day for silver those were much more sparse.

I think I would decide which is more important to me personally and then grab that first - Good luck! 👍

Yeah so I am but I'm gold and no one seems to be admitting to being platinum annoyingly! Someone mentioned bookings the other day and I tried to get info but they were concierge and did via their rep not online so not very helpful. I might try again!

This is my worry being gold! I have only ever done longer cruises and even then have struggled with getting everything I want. Oh and yes mean mixology/champagne tasting.

hmm ok maybe worth checking this out first then as I would assume Remy will have similar issues to Palo brunch wise.

Ha ha the trouble is being solo I end up umming and ahing over which is more important!
