I believe once you've used your allocated 3 fastpasses you can then book which ever ride/show you want regardless of it's tier?

I’m booking on Thursday and although HS is not really our favourite park I’m just doing the Teir 1 for toy story. I’m lucky enough (although having a son going through nearly 4 years of chemo is not what you would call luck) to get a dac card so it does give you kind of extra FastPass so we can do other teir 1 rides easier.
What is the deal with GE? I’ve left a day for it, guessing it’s just a free for all unlike Disneyland. I thought onsite guests would have got some kind of email explaining something or another.

Nothing announced yet, however I think they will do the on the day virtual reservation on mde like they did in disneyland!

At present the only special perk as far as GE and onsite guests is concerned are the Extra Extra Magic Hours with HS being open from 6am to 9am for onsite guests, though this only starts from Sept 1st, the first couple of days are indeed a free for all at present.
