Visiting Disneyland - Staying on Hollywood Boulevard

Hi All

I'm heading to LA (first timer) in September for 7ngts followed by 7ngts in NY. I'm staying on Hollywood Boulevard for the duration of my stay in LA and am planning on going to Universal, Warner Bros, Griffith Observatory and some Bus tours etc but am umming and ahhing about whether or not I should try and fit in a visit Disneyland

Do you think Disneyland is worth visiting for one day or even 2 if I could get an affordable hotel for the night or would you skip a visit this time and look to book again in the future to mainly visit Disney?

Thanks for reading

By the sounds of it 1 or 2 days is enough for most people, there are only 2 parks there and they're right across the street from eachother. Traffic from Hollywood boulevard could be a nightmare so if you're doing 2 days definitely get a local hotel, loads nearby for 50-100 a night depending on time of year

There are plenty of reasonably priced hotels near Disneyland if you booked one for a night or two. My mum did two days - one in each park and used maxpass to make sure they did most things. You can easily have a fun couple of days and do most rides in that time. We did do 5 but we are Disney addicts

I only ever 2 days Disneyland 1 for each park

But we stay in Anaheim to do Disney

Hollywood is 35 miles away but it’s can easily take 2 hrs each way due to traffic

I don’t think you’ll find one for £50 ( or dollars a night now )

I go yearly to Anaheim , twice this year and even the basic best westerns are $100+ a night .

I usually pay around £120 a night .

Fair point, that was a vague estimate around our rate, we're paying 80p/n I think, but that was booked well in advance
