We have bought a package for Easter 2020. Bought at about 14 months out.
Pricing it myself, it puts the flights at about £550 - 600.
This is indirect Edinburgh - Jfk - MCO. Flying Thursday the 2nd of April.
Air travel times are about 13hrs on way out and just over 14hrs way back.

We paid £1400 for 2 adults and 2 children Glasgow-London-mco for this easter with BA economy. It helped massively that our school holidays are not inline with the rest of the country.

We're going this year and it has cost us just under £2000 (2ad, 1ch) but that is a fly drive so car included.

We are doing Easter hols this year & paid £700pp, flying direct from Manchester with TC.

I waited & watched flight prices last year, they started lower & only went up! so I missed out on cheaper flights - unlucky, but no big deal in the long run

We will be there for easter this year purely by chance ! We were looking last September for anytime in April and managed to get 2 x virgin economy classic flights from Manchester for a total of £566 for both flights! They are indirect - via glasgow outward and returning via atlanta . Also it was much cheaper to book 16 days eather than 14 days even taking into account the cost if the extra 2 nights hotel!
