DVC Dave rental payments

A quick question for DVC owners that has rented out points via DVC Dave, when you got paid via paypal was it converted from $ to £ I'm considering renting out some of my BWV points.

Can’t help with the answer but I can tell you that those points will go quickly, I’m waiting for bwv with daves atm and whilst there is availability they don’t have owners with points to sell.

You get it as US $ in your Paypal. If you wish to transfer it to a UK bank account and withdraw it, you can convert it on Paypal to GDP- of course the rate is discounted a bit.

When do you get the money? At the time of rental or when the booking is complete?
Also, for those who have used daves rentals has anyone got any concerns about damage or anything like that from renting your points out? I’m just asking as Disney don’t seem keen on members doing this 😊😊

Do you already have a US dollar PayPal account along with your sterling account, if not then consider adding that to your PayPal account first.

You can then receive from Dave's the payment directly into your dollar account. And if you don't already have a US dollar bank account where you can transfer your PayPal dollars to then you can either transfer the dollars into sterling with paypal (for a fee) or use those dollars to pay towards your dues. That way you don't loose out on any currency transaction fees.

This can be done by buying Disney egift cards with your paypal US balance through Target online, once you've received the egift card number you can then use that to pay your dues either by calling member services or online.

Good luck and if you need more info on buying the Disney egift cards from Target then either check out https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho...+car d+target or send us a personal message.

We did this last week, worked perfectly to use our rental money towards dues, and having carefully read your advice/instructions it was really quite simple.

In terns of Davids rental payments, We got some money (70% from memory) within 24 hours of making the booking, and we will get the rest on their arrival.
