Blizzard Beach - Shade
We visited Typhoon Lagoon today and despite wearing Factor 50 (or as DH calls it "Factor Duffle Coat) I still ended up a bit pink.
We plan on visiting Blizzard Beach too. Any suggestions on the best place to base ourselves that has some shade?

There are loads of places around Tikes Peak that are shaded, you will have no problem finding a spot around there.

Loads of shady spots at BB. We Never have a problem finding some beds/chairs under the trees between the lazy river and the bar.

We went twice on a recent trip in May. Pretty quiet on both occasions but we headed straight for the Ski Patrol Camp and just to the left of it was a big canopy that had about 6 beds under it.
As others have said - plenty of places there for shade. |
