John Lewis too. Was best rate at the time last week. Ordered one day, delivered the next.

We always use JL. Order on line and collect from local Waitrose.
Usually the best "High Street" rate and I don't think they are on comparison sites. Mick

For the last 10 years or so l have used Covent Garden FX, usually beat JL by a few cents and delivery is next day or alternatively on a day of your choosing. I think a minimum of £500 for free delivery.

This may cause a problem as I'm flying into San Francisco!
I've got the cash here so I'm looking for somewhere physical to take the cash to, but thank you for replying, this might help someone else

Thanks everyone, looks like John Lewis is the place to go.
I was in Tesco this morning and their rate was $1.20 😭 It was $1.45 when we last went to the states (although this was 2012! )

We also used John Lewis this time.
Next day delivery. First time of using them, seemed to be the best rate, will definitely use again. Ali x |

I’m getting my Euros from
Sainsbury’s who offer a slightly better rate if you have a Nectar card. Not sure how their dollar rate compares

Comparison today
Euro = Sainsburys (with Nectar) 1.0956 - John Lewis 1.065 USD = Sainsburys (with Nectar) 1.2349 - John Lewis 1.2476 So Sainsburys for Euro's JL for dollars |
