Mobile Off site hotel recommendations

We have been to DLP many times but have always stayed at Sequoia Lodge, Newport Bay or Disneyland Hotel. Looking to go back for 4 nights in Aug and considering offsite to save money but it’s hard to find much information so looking for recommendations from anyone.
Thanks in advance.

We stayed at the Hotel Elysses in Val d’Europe on our last visit. Clean, comfy, great location. Shuttle bus to the parks or you are only one stop on the train to Marne La Vallee and the hotel is practically opposite the station. There is a breakfast included. Good range of places to eat nearby too. Would definitely stay there again. It gets good reviews on here.

I've stayed a few times in the Ibis Val d'Europe (this was in 2013 so a while back though). It was great - very basic as you expect from an Ibis but comfortable enough, and right at the exit of the Val d'Europe RER station which is just one stop from DLP.

I stayed at the Hipark in 2017 (booked too late to get the Ibis) and have very mixed feelings about it. You can walk from it to DLP but part of the walk felt a bit deserted so I wouldn't do it alone late at night. It is very close to the shopping centre though so convenient to buy things and supplies from Auchan. There is a free shuttle bus but the timings aren't great (you do need to look for the timetable). Breakfast was decent. Wifi was abysmal. I had a single room but the bed turned out to be a converted sofa bed which was very odd I felt. The bathtub was ridiculously high and I had some difficulty as a fairly mobile youngish person getting in and out!

Generally I feel like the Val d'Europe area is a decent place to stay, mainly as the RER is such an easy way to get between Val d'Europe at the parks, and the RER runs throughout the entire day at very decent intervals. And of course the shopping centre, outlet village and Auchan make it very convenient to get things!

We always stay in an apartment at the Adagio - cheap and cheerful, although if you're used to Disney hotels you might be disappointed by its standard.
We've stayed there for 10 nights every August for the last 10 years or so (can't do this year as we'll be in Florida).

Various room configurations depending on the size of your party, but each has a kitchenette with hob, fridge and microwave. This saves us a fortune on food - we can eat breakfast while we're getting ready, make sandwiches up for the park and have a meal when we get back in the evening.
Very handy for the shopping centre and you can walk to the park if you're feeling energetic, or you can take the shuttle bus.

Depending how long you're staying offsite, it might be worth looking at getting one or more Annual Pass to avoid parking charges.

We usually stay at these apartments and think they are great. Did your room have aircon? We went one July and room was roasting. Didn’t get much sleep that trip!

No, no aircon. We sleep with the windows / balcony doors open. Keep the curtains drawn during the day to keep the room as cool as possible.

Thanks. Who do you usually book the adagio apartments through? We usually book through travel republic. Last time we went we didn’t bother with the shuttle and just walked to parks. Thought it was handy they are walkable.

We look at whoever is cheapest and then get hotels.com to price match. We're happy with their service, plus after staying 10 nights with them you get a free night (to the value of the average of the 10 nights).

We usually book around 10 months in advance, so choose the cancellable rate - just in case anything goes wrong with our plans.

Prices have rocketed in recent years. There used to be price breaks at 4 nights or 10 nights (which is why we stay for 10 nights), but we're not sure this still applies. When we first stayed there it was around £60 per night, now its around £100 per night for our stays.
