Rider swap / baby switch. New rules?

So everyone in the party now needs to go to rider switch. I was telling my friend who goes next week about it.
They are 3 adults, 2 older children and 1 baby. Everyone needs to go to queue now not just say 2 adults, 1 child and baby as before? And other adult and 1 child could go and do something else (paper rideswitch just allowed for child swap adult plus 2 extra to ride)

Now only people that appear at rider switch and get magic band tapped can ride later. I.e 1 adult and 1 child can't now go and ride something else on other side of park)

So sorry for also hijacking thread!
We are a party of 4 adults and a baby... would they still allow this? Or does it have to consist of a maximum of adults?
