Gatwick parking

Hi. We are planning to drop our suitcases off and use twilight check in before we take our car to the APH parking for our holiday. According to the Gatwick Airport website, anyone can park in the long stay car park for up to two hours for free. Please can anyone who has done this confirm that this is correct. TIA.

Gatwick has also confirmed this. Literally just pull up into the car park in either north or south terminals, and you can leave it there for 2 hours. Free of charge! Just make sure you're back in-time.

We can confirm this. We've picked people up from the car park - you can hang around for up to 2 hours without paying.
