Some History in Wales This Weekend
A few things happening here over the 2 days.
It's not on a schedule I can find but the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster flew over us earlier today. What a sight.  Tomorrow the Tornado Steam Train is running from Bristol through to Carmarthen. However it's too early for me to get in situ to see it! Can't be getting ready for 08.50  I bet Geoffa would have done this trip.  Edited at 05:35 PM. |

The bbmf went over us further east today too. The sound of those engines is so iconic I knew immediately and ran out. Used to have a lot to do with the bbmf as a child - not far from coningsby it's home base

I’ve been outdoors all afternoon in the garden and not seen/heard it, so I’m guessing it didn’t fly past my house. Shame, it would have been nice to see.
