Have you thought of getting an account with very/littlewoods redid this last year with our tv signed up got the new customer discount and if you search the web there are normally other discount codes avalible!

We did this as we had no savings at the time( has just paid Florida! ) saved a month or two and then payed off the balance!

The prices can be inflated on the littlewoods site but with the right discounts it can work out about the same sometimes our samsung was about £30 more expensive than currys price!

Just an idea!

another vote for Richer sounds-they sell top brands but cheap deals on discontinued models

Also-if you have a store nearby you can buy "open box returns" that customers have returned for cosmetic flaws that still have a 12mth guarantee-usually good savings there

We got our tv from Morrisons last Christmas. It's a 32in, Neon, which I have never heard of, but it's been a very good tv and I would get another one. It was £250 and was the cheapest one we could find my miles.

in morrisons we do 2 makes neon & techwood & neon. seems better & look a better design!

if it helps, neon are the same as cello (which netto sell) & murphy (which comet sell)

if you've got the patience & time try amazon for the lightning deals. they had a toshiba 37" i belive it was, for £249. though you need to click add to basket within milliseconds of the price appearing!

Try E buyers store through Ebay called Ebuyer Express. they usually have a daily deal on and free postage and next day delivery. I got a 32" Samsung for £250 about a month ago. I have bought quite a few items from E buyer and they have all been ok.

as for the warranty, its with techwood. anything goes wrong & they'll usually deliver a replacement the next working day.

plus if you know someone who works there they can get you 10% discount (or 15% on 8th december!)
we bought this make of tv from morrison but the next size up a 37" for £249, havent had any problems with it

Aldi had a 32'' LCD tv for £250 last sunday, not sure they'd still have any. I've had electrical stuff from Aldi ( my laptop is from Aldi )and it's been fine.
