Santa brings the sacks that are delivered to the bedrooms. His milk (read port), cookies/mince pie and carrots are left in their rooms too.
The presents never go under the tree until after the children are in bed on Christmas Eve (so it's still got the wow factor in the morning) but each are labelled who they are to and from. - family and friends. Santa brings the jokey presents, smellies, pens, socks etc in the sacks but main presents are from us. Santa was not going to take credit for the new bike and so on. It also meant our children grew up understanding about what we could afford and thank those who had bought for them. My children (😂 are 21 and 15. This still happens and no one questions it. 😁 (Neither one of them would dare to) Santa lives! 😁😁😁

My boys are 7 and nine, we have always done the full santa thing, they also get ' nanas ' present, etc aswell, every family does it different, notably stockings between the boys and their friends...I do what was done for me, a stocking hung on their bedroom door which is filled with wee treats and is the first thing opened, all of us in bed...some of their friends families do that differently... Even when the boys don't ' believe ' we will still have the same traditions of stocking and their own pile in living room!

We've always said that Father Christmas brings the big present and we get them the rest and the ones from family are from family . I don't think Father Christmas should get all of the credit ! also because I think children shouldn't get carried away by asking for ridiculous things and by saying that we buy them some of the presents it stops dd asking for a pony !
Oh and the stocking is from Father Christmas and xmas eve pjs are from the elves Edited at 05:33 PM. |

We always do a sack from Santa (us) I think it will be the last Santa year for us though
The presents under the tree are from family and friends. I think it is really important that gifts are from other people so that they can say thank you to those people who gift. As someone else said I would never let Santa take credit for others. My sil does this and I find it very insulting when she removes the gift tags.

I would definitely find it insulting if people took the tags off.
My Nan used to make me a sack too, but it was always from her and my grandad, not from Santa. When I was about 8 I stopped believing, but I told my older brother before I went to tell my parents and he told me to keep it a secret that I knew so that I could get more presents I think I lasted until I was in my first year of secondary school when my parents decided to 'tell me' so I had to tell them I'd known for a while Edited at 05:33 PM. |

Father Christmas brings a single present and stocking gifts for the girls. Nothing else. I don't want them thinking they can just have whatever. And I want them to be grateful to the person that bought the gift too.

Father Christmas leaves a stocking here. It was a sack when they were younger as the things were a bit bigger.
All the presents under the tree are from us, friends and family etc
