BA Overnight connection Man-Lhr-Mia

Hi

Just wondering if any of you have flown from Man to heathrow on the evening before flying onto Miami the next day. We are doing this next week and I'm wondering if our cases will be checked through to Miami from Manchester (I know they are if we were flying the same day just unsure as we fly down on a through ticket the evening before? )

No direct experience, but have seen mixed reports of this, with both happening. Would suggest you ask for whichever you prefer at MAN, depending on whether you want access to your bags at LHR.

We’ve done it - collected our cases at Heathrow and checked them in again the following morning.

We did this route last April and when we checked in at Manchester in the afternoon for our 8pm flight to Heathrow the lady on the check in desk asked if we wanted our cases checked right through to Miami. We were planning to ask if it was possible but she got in there first so we happily said yes and handed over our cases which we didn’t see until Miami the following evening.

And us. Done it twice and not seen cases again until we landed in Miami the next day. As long as you are prepared with things in your hand luggage, it's great. Makes for a very easy day next morning.
