villa essentials

Hi all,

we leave for a 3 week stay in August and 16 nights are in a villa

Last time we went in 2016 we had a spare suitcase so filled it up with bits we would use/need in the villa that would save us having to buy it there

But my mind has gone blank to what we actually took

So far on my list is

Bin Bags
Washing Powder
Sandwich Bags
Sponges
first aid bits
Shampoo and Conditioner
Shower gel
cling film
Nappies
Wipes
Swim Nappies

What else would you take?

You may want to take some dishwasher tablets noticed Home Bargings has a pack of 10 finish tablets for£1 this morning and maybe some anti back wipes for surfaces

Not cleaning related but your usual teabags. We usually take some salt and pepper so we don't have to buy big ones. Those net scrunchy/loofah things for in the shower and maybe some Cif or Dettol cleaner for the showers, baths and toilets if you're there for 17 days.

I took 1 full bottle of handwash and then bought some of those travel bottles from £1 land and decanted some into each bottle for DS’s bathroom, DD’s bathroom and the kitchen sink. I did the same with shampoo and conditioner so i wasnt carrying 3 lots of everything and just chucked the little travel bottles away at the end.

I am also taking a small sealable pot of sugar as we had to buy a mahoosive bag of it whilst out there last time 😂 we only used about 2cm of it.

I took Bounce tumble dryer sheets and also the colour catch sheets, so I could mix colours in the washes at the villa, we had the starter pack with the villa of essentials, which was good for food basics to save a shop on the first night. I took a dish cloth from home, which I ditched there. everything else was from Dollar Tree.

I took my cc and bought it all at Walmart as we would need to shop for food anyway.
Oh well not all... took teabags from U.K.

An electrical adapter plug and a four point extension lead to charge up the gadgets at night.
