British airways
We have just booked and have never flown with British airways I’ve book economy seat but was looking at extra leg room seat. But when I’ve spoke to them via twitter they say there isn’t any? Is this right we are flighting from Gatwick on the 777 I think it’s called. Any help would be great thanks

We are flying with BA and have extra leg room seats to Tampa.
Have you checked online? I do a dummy booking to see how many seats are booked up (just to be nosey) and you can see the seat configuration on there. |

I don't think they offer any extra leg room seats? You could pre book the exit row to have extra leg room but not extra leg room as such. I think that's correct anyway, sure someone will tell me if i'm wrong! We always fly BA and would happily pay for extra leg room if they had them!

It's bulkhead or emergency exit row's if you want extra legroom on BA.

You may not be able to book a bulkhead as they are kept for those travelling with infants but You can’t sit in an exit seat with an infant or child - not sure if they can be prebooked though

Great thank you the seats I’ve been trying to book via them over twitter for the past 2 hours which they where saying I couldn’t book now they said I could but finish enough I’ve gone back on there and the whole 6 seats have gone. It’s either a coincidence or it’s there end. But now he can book a bunkhead seat that was taken before. What are there seats like? Thanks

We've booked the exit row seats in the past but on most BA plane configurations there are only 12 available. You have to be able bodied and over 16 to sit in them. While they do give extra leg space we found people waiting for the toilets hung about in the space especially on the day flight and as the aisles are narrower now the crew stopped with their trolley to let people past. I was in the aisle seat and got my legs knocked and foot stood on quite a few times so personally I wouldn't book them again.
If you are really tall though it might be worth the extra cost. Edited at 03:28 PM. |

Log into your booking on the BA app or BA.com you will then be able to see the seat map. You will also notice that depending on where you sit, the prices vary.
