Magicbands health warning - anyone concerned?
Saw someone mention it on a post I now can't find but also noticed when I was trying to order magicbands earlier this message comes up..
Is anyone concerned by this message. I would have thought being the US every step would be taken to prevent anything that would cause any harm and they wouldn't be encouraging people to wear something that might. Are they just protecting themselves by putting this statement on or should we all be worried?! Edited at 06:59 AM. |

I’ve not encountered this before but I personally wouldn’t be concerned. I only wear one a few days a year.
There are plenty of nasties in a lot of what we buy from Walmart etc if you read the ingredients, but mmmm Cheetos!

Google the proposition and decide for yourself.
Won’t stop me from wearing a band for two weeks |

it's some kind of bisphenol A issue, as found in the band's material
now, I'm very surprised some are concerned with wearing a "plastic" band, but do not seem to know or care that, flying at high altitudes, for long periods of time, will expose them to a higher dose of radiation than they would be exposed to if they stayed on the ground cheers |

OMG. You talk about fake news.
Just remind yourself what makes you get old and eventually kills you. It’s called air. What is this world coming too.

Not worried in the slightest. They are just protecting themselves Incase they get fined or sued for not providing a warning.

Anyone who is concerned about their magic band giving them cancer should first get rid of their mobile phones, wi-fi and microwave ovens. They will cause far more damage than 2 weeks wearing an rfid chip

I think there's one of these signs at the entrance to the park - not worried at all!
