So kind of you all to worry but they have cctv on the petrol station forecourt and it was about a one mile drive, busy all the way. She had a tiny bag too small for any type of concealed weapon !

It’s odd but I’ve remembered another occasion.
I was backing off my drive and an elderly lady walking down the road asked me for a lift as she was meeting her friend and was going to miss the bus. She got in and asked if I could take her to the station to save time getting a bus ! She was chatting away about different people. I introduced myself and she suddenly realised that she had mistaken me for someone else ! She was so embarrassed that she’d asked a stranger for a lift. I knew I was safe with her, she must have been pushing 90 🤗 |
