Party ideas for 3year old girl
I have convinced my wife that I am going to organise our eldest's third birthday party in January.
I have sorted out the hire of the village hall, and thinking about Disney for the theme for between 15 and 30 children. But I'm struggling for ideas for entertainment. At the moment the plan is for some party games, and I like the idea of decorating some Mickey ears. The other idea was getting everyone to decorate a biscuit or cup cake. I am thinking that sounds not nearly enough to cover a 2 hour party. What other activities work well with this age group? I did think about a bouncy castle as a back up, but that's a bit too similar to last years. |

Pin the tail on the eeyore? Digging for Captain Hooks treasure (in a chest with sand)? Musical chairs but with Mickey Mouse shaped heads on the ground for them to sit on instead of chairs? Finding nemo fishing with magnets on poles/lines?

At that age my two had soft play parties. They are still little and often just want to run around rather than sit or concentrate on a game imo.

You'll struggle to keep 15-30 three year olds crafting for two hours!
If you can't get an experienced entertainer then definitely go for a bouncy castle and loads of balloons as a back up for the craft stuff.

For timing guidance, I decorated cupcakes at my 8 year olds daughter and the whole activity took less than half an hour!
For your age group, lots of party games, music and ideally a bouncy castle, as above poster has suggested. Don't forget that sitting down for some food will take some time too so factor that in. It's a lot of work though - I've only ever done soft play parties at that age and friends have hired entertainers - there are companies now that will send a Disney princess to entertain |

When my eldest was 3 I had a party at my church hall, I set up different stations and got friends to man each table/station, one table was face painting, decorating cup cakes, make your own crown or wand, sword (templates from online, lots of glitter, stickers etc, lucky dip, ballooon model made personally for them.
This lasted about an hour or so then they had food and then we did some party games/dancing. All the kids loved it x |

At that age - dancing - lots and lots of dancing, and some more dancing. Crafts will take minutes especially if the result is edible.
Silly party songs - especially ones with actions that the parents/grandparents have to show the kids how to do (Macarena, Supermaaaaaaan, Pizza hut song) - can fill hours! and you have to have a conga (that can fill 15 min on its own!) Check if anyone is allergic to latex and chuck loads of balloons at them to "keep off the floor" when they start to flag... Food for the last 40min - getting them all sat down can take a while, and you don't want it all to come back up by risking dancing after food. |

Thanks for some wonder full ideas,
I have now semi sorted something to link it all together, with a PowerPoint Toodles and a projector to show what activity is next... |
