The only way I can get my holiday bod is by intermittent fasting. I've tried doing a shed load of exercise but when I do - I just want to eat for England so I just end up looking solid and chunky. Michael Mosley's book on IF is a great start. It's called the Fast 800 and his website of the same name. There are also useful facebook groups for Intermittent Fasting advice.

I think what this thread proves is there are multiple ways to reach a healthy goal weight. Each works for different people at different times and providing it is not damaging to your health then whichever suits the individual at the time is good.
For me healthy eating is a mindset, nothing to do with food all to do with having the right attitude to food. Eating is one thing we can control ourselves at the moment while the world around us seems uncontrollable. Let's all support each other to health whatever way we do it. |
