''From Winter to Summerland''. October 09!

From Winter to Summerland.

Pre-trippie-

Cast-Me, aged 34. Loves Disney holidays, tried somewhere else once and didn’t like it.
Chris- aged 41. A lovely bloke but tends to be getting grumpier with age.!
Megan- nr 13. Our gorgeous girl whom can suffer from pre-teen strops but is generally the life & soul of the party.
Toby- 7 . Our boy, whom has no fear of any rides and can’t wait to see Mickey again.

Our friends

Mark- an expat like us, aged 50, doesn't like theme parks!
Claudette- a Newf, loves shopping & designer stuff.
George- their boy, aged 10. First time to WDW.

I didn’t do a pre-trippie, erm, pre-trip as I was undecided if I was going to do a trippie at all. However here I sit with a gazillion and one photos in front of me so it would be a shame not to tell you a little bit about our trip and include some of our pics.

We had many firsts this trip, one mainly being that we now live in Canada so wouldn’t be flying from Gatwick!

Alsowe had never been at Halloween before,so we were really excited for that.

Another first for us is that we had friends whom decided to book at the same time as us , in the same hotel, same DC day etc, etc.
To be honest we were slightly worried as with every holiday we have ever taken its ‘our holiday’, we like to do our own thing and not feel commited to making plans or fitting in with what others might plan etc. I hope I don’t sound selfish but with all the money our hols cost us we like to make the most of it, doing what we like to do, iykwim.

And the friends coming with us were friends we have met out here, we haven’t even holidayed with our oldest friends in the UK, ever.! lol

So we agreed we would still do our own thing, and occasionally have days out together, meals etc.

So on with my planning!

I booked flights to leave St.Johns on 14 th Oct, arriving home on the 28th Oct.

DC booked for 16th Oct, Megan & Tobes early b-day present.

MNSSHP booked for 20th Oct.

Keys to the Kingdom tour- 23rd Oct

We stayed at the Clarion Maingate on the 192. (nr marker 5)

6 day park-hoppers.

DC tickets included 14 days use at SW, BG and Aquatica.

Next-

The journey & arrival!
