"Home Alone" pre-trippie
Well with less than two weeks to go and everything ready, apart from getting the suitcases down from the loft (should have done that yesterday ) thought it was time for a quick pre-trippie for our forthcoming trip back home, so here goes:
Once DS & DD have been picked up from school on Thursday (31st May 2012) we will head off to Gatwick for twilight check-in, once completed we head over to the Premier Inn, where was have stayed before our last three trips. Fingers crossed our flight is on schedule, if so somewhere around 11:15 next Friday, Virgin Atlantic VS27 will be airborne and we will be on our way to Orlando International Airport. Once we have cleared customs and collected our baggage, we will meet our Quicksilver driver who will take us back home to Kidani Village via a quick supermarket stop to collect some groceries and bud light . We are spending 11 nights at Kidani Village, Savanah room before we collect our hire car from the Disney Car Hire centre and drive over to Vero Beach for 3 nights. Its our first time to Vero Beach and are looking forward to a few days chillin after the hectic time in the parks and maybe take in a bit of shopping. As we are only spending 11 nights on resort we are only going to do the Disney Parks, to be honest was let down by Seaworld in 2010 and if we was going to Universal would want to allow at least 2 whole days. Anyway whilst at Disney other going on our favourite rides, enjoying the water parks (including our hotels), we are also hoping to do; Characters in flight Visit the Cars Masters weekend Visit Hollywood Studios for one of the Star Wars weekend Ride one of the main street vehicles (every year I say I will do this) Disney Quest Play mini golf at Fantasia gardens We will be on the dining plan so have the following ADR's booked; Tusker House (breakfast) Whispering Canyon Liberty Tree Tavern Chief Mickey Akershus (breakfast) Via Napoli Prime Time Sanaa Yak & Yeti Garden Grill Boma (breakfast) (non DDP) We also have an ADR booked for Shutters at Vero Beach I think I have covered what we plan to do albeit briefly now on with the packing and checking that countdown. Oh one last thing, make a note to do single digit dance on Wednesday. |
