Oh poor Bonnie I’m glad to see she’s doing well and that the people who’s dog it is have been found.
It makes me feel sick to think how terrified you and Bonnie must have been.

We are all ok 👍 she’s terrified of other dogs now, we took her out this morning and walked by some pensioners bungalows one of which had a tiny Yorkshire Terrier. It barked at her and she just ran behind my legs and was trembling really bad 😕
We have got an appointment with a behaviouralist but not for another 3 weeks.
The owners of the dog were served with order yesterday, they have 7 days to ensure that they have the dog muzzled and harness when they are out in public. They signed to agree to it, this will be in place for 12 months and if the dog is out in public without these then there will be further action.
The police have been amazing I really can’t speak any higher of them.
Just want Bonnie to have more confidence now bless her. Her wounds are healing nicely, the puncture wounds around her neck are very deep, I daren’t stroke her in case they start bleeding. I have to stroke her bottom as she wasn’t hurt there.

Just read through this and glad the owners have been dealt with.
Also glad that you are getting help for your dog as you don’t want this affecting her for life.
Do you have any friends or neighbours with dogs that you can go for walks with in the meantime? Socialising with other dogs now is crucial imo.

Aww how terrifying for Bonnie and you as well, glad she is improving and the owners have been dealt with, hopefully the behaviouralist will be able to help her get over her trauma, sending hugs xx

Here she is today with DS on a swing 😂😂😂😂 look at her face!

She has been much happier today we took her for a long walk around Wentworth Woodhouse she came across a lot of dogs and was terrified of all of them 😕

She still loves her walks though.

That’s a lovely photo. I’ve been thinking of you all and saw your gin post and thought you deserve loads of gin after the week you have had. I’m sure the behaviourist will be able to help and that Bonnie’s confidence will improve. Take care.
