Protect Claims

Just received an email today from Protect Claims saying I need to send additional information about my booking e.g a bank statement and a signed form. It all looks legit and has my reference on but I just wondering if anyone has had the same as don't want to be hanging over personal details if it isn't legit. The email went to my spam folder, it was only by chance that I found it!

Nip over to the ATOL refund thread. It seems the CAA are using a couple of companies to sort claims and Protect is one of them.
Some people are having a lot of trouble with providing evidence though!

I used my claim number on Protect Claims website yesterday(09/12/19) which was day 60 of my claim, only find out that they have put it as "paid" on the 03/12/19, but I haven't received any payment or even an email to confirm this! Has anyone had similar happen? I feel sick with worry now, where has the money gone?

I submitted the form with the additional info they requested and within an hour or so my money had been refunded to my account in full
