I’m having a panic attack just watching those plank walks. Had to leave the room when Ian Wright wobbled.

The producers have made little or no effort to minimise the carbon footprint of making this series.
We are running out of time to tackle climate change by taking every possible measures.
Why travel to Australia ? The presenters and celebrities are mostly from UK. It should have been filmed here, perhaps in a National Park.
Why collect each celebrity individually in a gas guzzling Lamborghini or Ferrari ? Why not send an electric minibus for all of them in one trip ?
Why have several high powered boats bringing each celebrity one at a time ? These will pollute the ocean.
Same with helicopters, why not one big one instead of several small ones ?
These are all reasons not to watch the programme.
I hope viewers contact ITV to complain.

Poor Nadine! You just wouldn’t sign up though if you didn’t want to throw yourself out of a helicopter would you?!

If it wasn’t, exotic, far flung and... dare I say it entertaining, then we would probably not bother watching. We do, because it is a great formula that has stood the test of time.

As for carbon footprint, most of us fly long haul (hence membership of the site) and in addition sometimes take connecting flights, want full size SUVs, Mustangs or American market engines in our hire cars, drive well over a thousand miles ( in my case) on every vacation and generally enjoy ourselves. My last one had 4 flights, 3 train journeys, 2 hire cars, 3 boat trips and 1100 miles of driving. (I did also chalk up 47,000 steps).

If people want to decrease the carbon footprint of the world, then maybe they should be protesting in China or India... after walking or cycling there. They make us appear like saints.

I can just imagine it being filmed in the Peak District in November ...NOT !
Sorry, big jungle fan here and there will be no complaints to ITV. I do understand your stance on climate change though.
