Maple & Whiskey Candles

I bought 3 of these and they arrived this week. I ordered the Beach Club smell as I love it. After lighting the candle I couldn't smell much so moved it to the downstairs loo which is a much smaller space. The candle was burning for hours and I could just about smell it, is this normal? I was expecting the downstairs to be awash with the Beach Club smell. I would put it on par with a normal scented candle from a supermarket.

For those of you that have them am I expecting too much ?

I only bought them once - I had 3 candles and could smell none of them once they were lit. I can smell Yankee ones all over the house - I couldn't smell those even in the same room.

I can’t smell the candles or diffusers much from them, but admittedly I have a terrible sense of smell- I have a bath and body works car freshener that I’ve never been able to smell and I’ve had it I the car for nearly 18 months and people still tell me they can smell it when I couldn’t smell it on day 1.

I can, however, smell the wax melts from maple and whiskey so maybe give that a go - it must be stronger for me to be able to smell it

I’ve had many candles from them and they all have a good strong scent. Maybe message them and see if they’ll replace it for you?

Yeah I can smell my Yankee candles all over as well.

I find the cold scent good but the hot scent very poor and wouldn't buy from again

They replaced one of mine free of charge as they said they thought it was production problem (a couple of years ago) and the new one was no different. These are the only make of candles I've had this problem with.

I have been told that the Beach Club scent is very slight and have been offered a replacement but just waiting to see if that’s for all 3.
