Anyone off to the Euro's ?
Passed a bus last night full of Scots en route to Munich, I am assuming via Newcastle - Amsterdam ferry
always fancied going to a tournament but closest I got was tentative plans for Itaila 90 but never came off, one of my big regrets as that was epic for a number of reasons So anyone heading out ? Edited at 09:12 AM. |

Unfortunately not... I am heading out to Frankfurt next Monday - Wednesday for work.
Belgium Slovakia on the day I arrive in Frankfurt and then England Denmark the day after I leave. Hopefully will get some of the atmosphere.

Flying out for the first two England group games on Saturday and then doing an in and out for the third. Have flights booked for the final if we make it, cancelable via points, and will see about the knock-outs which have been complicated by my dad being in hospital.

Stepson leaves tomorrow for two weeks. They’re basing themselves in Stuttgart and travelling to all Scotland games.

Unfortunately not, but I will be watching every single match along with my son as we do for every tournament (he books time off work when tournaments are on - also known as ‘dad can I go home early as I won’t be productive if I stay at work because I’ll be glued the footy’). There has to be a perk working for your dad!
I hope everyone going out there has a fantastic time! ⚽️⚽️⚽️ |

Husband and son headed out today, Edinburgh to Frankfurt following Scotland. They have tickets for all three group games. Never before has a teenager been so keen to get up at 4.30am as my son was this morning, beyond excited.

I went to Italia 90 whilst we had some great times it was marred by the way we were treated the whole time like being in North Korea. I am glad I went but if it were tomorrow I would not.
I fell out of love with international football years ago but I am quite looking forward to it this time, from the telly of course. |
