What a fantastic thread this has been - I normally booked via Alamo but Sixt have come up with the best prices and just saved another £45 on my booking for later this month. Both bookings are showing on the Sixt app should I cancel the original now or wait for the new one to be confirmed ?

I would wait, some people have reported having the booking cancelled rather than conformed.

Sorry haven’t read through the full thread. Booked a 7 seater suv through jet2 with Alamo for sept. Just had an email from rental cars.com stating they’ve cancelled the reservation as they are very busy at that time of year 😳 . Has anyone had this?

My booking has just come back that the price has changed and they have given me the price before the discount so just gone back to them and asked them to put the discount on.

Great prices but them taking the payment and then cancelling isn't a good look for them IMO.
