When will the non UK resident ban end?

Hi good people,

We started cruising in 2017 from the UK which is natural as I can drive to the port from Belgium in about 5 hours and can take way more stuff than if I were flying. Not to mention it being much cheaper and a lot of fun meeting UK cruisers who are a really friendly fun bunch.

Anyway cruising started again from the UK this summer however I am not allowed on because I don't have a UK address.

Finding out information about when this restriction will be lifted is like looking for a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow.

Can anyone direct me to a page showing when this will end and also when cruises from the UK will actually leave the UK?

I can cruise from Lubeck in Germany (8 hour drive) but I don't speak German so can't imagine it will be much fun. Or flying from various destinations in Europe but it adds not only covid risk but also around 1 000€ onto the cost and flights are actually not going as often so it's hard to find the flights just before sailings.

Currently there are UK cruises leaving the UK but only staycation cruises. I don't think in reality anyone knows for sure but most lines are assuming that September onwards things will start returning to normal as this is when the Staycation cruises seem to be ending and more standard cruises start.
