The Tokyo Toilet Tour !

Now - stop giggling in the back there!

Now this could only happen in Japan:

Toilets are a symbol of Japan's world-renowned hospitality culture. Public toilets will be redesigned in 17 locations throughout Shibuya with the help of 16 creators invited from around the world. We invite you to take a look at the uniqueness of each of these facilities.

Now some of these look really quite cool - of course they all have the Japanese super loo in there - though am not sure about the glass cube ones that stop being see through when you get in and lock the door! What if the power fails and it goes... see through again.

Anyway, thought that was such a Japanese thing I would share

Lovely! where I live most of the public toilets have been closed down and are very few and far between, thank goodness for M&S.

Love these!

As an aside, with the loos that go opaque when you lock the door, I believe the unpowered state is opaque and the glass goes clear when it has a current going through it - locking the door breaks the circuit, so in the event of a powercut, they'd all go opaque.

Even still... I'm not sure I'd trust it. With my medical issues, I've often got my trousers down before the door is even closed
