Pasta Evangalist looks wonderful, but I have just started on weight watchers.
I calorie count rather than WW, but some of it really isn’t that bad. Certainly managed to get it in my cals. Portions are small. Certainly for DH so I get him a double portion.

Northcote is the nicest I’ve seen but expensive. Elite bistros at home looks really nice too but they sell out quickly

Reading with interest, we've done a couple of less expensive meals, trying to break up the monotony of lockdown!
We did pizza pilgrims last week, which the kids loved making and was nice, but not significantly better than pizza Express to make me order again.

Last night we did a fondue from The Cheese Bar, really good, way more food than we could eat though! Was advertised as serves 2, so we bought 2 for the four of us. Would have had food left over with one kit!

Another option would be Donald Russell’s chef prepared meals. I buy meat and fish from them regularly and it’s very good. Not tried the meals but they look nice.

We’ve been buying Cote at Home once a month since lockdown started as we used to eat in one of their restaurants regularly. Good quality food and very easy to prepare.

I am not doing it for DH’s birthday as Italian is more of a favourite of mine but I showed him the link and he liked the look. So we joined up and have ordered for the next three weeks, it will be a nice end of week treat as we picked Friday delivery. Lobster ravioli this week.

I looked up the WW points for similar looking dishes and would guess I will use up about half of my daily allowance, maybe just under but this is fine as I often have a points free breakfast and have several options for low points lunches.

I discovered them a little while back, I think it was when you mentioned them on a sausage roll thread. I have done a couple of orders since for meat, fish and of course sausage rolls. I got the Beef Wellington for Boxing Day, it was delicious but very small.

For anyone still looking we have had 'Antona at Home' a few times over lockdown. The Beef Wellington (for 2) is excellent and we have stretched it to 4 adults. We pick up but I believe they also deliver

as well as sat bains and his mums curry, local boys johnny pusztai (the snobby butcher) and lawrence henry (recent winner of masterchef the professionals) have teamed up and launched THE SNOBBY BURGER. its not a cook at home thing, but wow! if you are in the notts area, then pay a visit...

snobbyburger/

we had ours the other night (they opened this week) and they are some of the best burgers we've *ever* had! price-wise, they are on a par with annies burger shack or five guys

the juicy lucy cheeseburger. there is molten cheese in the middle. they make their own "processed cheese" concoction. remember this is designed by a masterchef winner!

"Taking things to the next level, our best ever cheeseburger builds on the snobby burger with the addition of a ‘melt in the middle’ extra mature cheese sauce & crispy cheese coating."

Magyar Imperial Burger

A nod to Johnny’s Hungarian roots, a spiced Kolbas pork burger – more traditionally seen as a cured sausage – is served in Langos bread (a Hungarian fried bread) with sauerkraut, pickles & smoked sour cream.

and Cheesy Dog... A special Cumberland sausage with mature cheddar cheese running throughout, finished with caramelised onions, lettuce, American mustard, smoky chipotle ketchup & a little snobby cheese sauce. All served in a toasted brioche bun.

its only available for people within 5 miles of ng5, but if you can, get ordering! (or go visit the restaurant when things reopen)

i've ordered the sabor en casa tapas meal for next weekend. Not the valentines one just the normal box one with dessert. Have also added on a bottle of their house sangria!
