Kennedy on a busy day
Hey all,
Starting to put together an itinerary for Easter 2022. I was thinking of putting Kennedy down for one of the weekend days where I assume everything will be busier than normal. My rationale being that Kennedy on a busy day won't feel as busy as Universal or Disney would as there aren't queues to get into or anything. Is that reasoning justified? Has anyone been to Kennedy on a busy day and found it too crowded? Thanks! PS. I've just realised the word 'busy' looks ridiculous written down |

We were advised to do Kennedy at the weekend as less likely to get large tour groups there
We did a sat in July and it was fine crowd wise

Tends to be popular with school groups in the week so yes weekend is a good strategy but to be honest I’ve never seen it crazy busy

Easter Sunday may not be great... we were out there, so were some friends in 2016. We went to AK. Great in morning, shoulder to shoulder in afternoon, roads really busy on way back to villa.
They went to KSC... getting there easy, great day out, not too busy , not dead quiet, totally spoiled by 3 hour+ journey back to villa. Roads were so busy late afternoon early evening. |

The busy days are when there is a planned shuttle launch. If you are on holiday at this time I would certainly recommend seeing this but get there early

Definitely do the astronaut talk (you don’t pay extra for it - you only pay extra for the lunch encounter, which we didn’t do). That was the highlight for us, and they have a different astronaut each session.
The bus tour was not great considering the amount of queueing time - and we only queued up for 15 mins. Atlantis was also great. |
