We enjoyed Rock and Brew when we stayed in that area. Just down the 192.

Rock and Brew is a great shout on the 192 and there is also a Bahama breeze a couple of doors down too which we have had some good meals at along with a Miller's Ale House and Joes Crab Shack and an Oliver Garden.

Get yourselves north to the 192 and you will be in a short stretch of road (turning left or right) with Manny’s, Culvers, Longhorn, Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, Texas Roadhouse, Red Lobster, Joes Crab Shack, Bonefish Grill, Outback, Carrabbas, Millers Ale House, Cracker Barrel, Red Robin, Applebees, Fords, Hooters - bound to have missed a couple More at Margaritaville/Sunset Walk that we haven’t explored yet.

We have around 90% of our dinners in that area. We've stayed over in the Highgate Park area just to the west of you around 20 times and drive past EI at least twice a day.

Regular Dibber, DonnaD, who lives near EI says that they've added even more along that stretch of 192 since we were last there in Nov 2019

Our favourites include :

Perkins for breakfasts, or everyday meals when you don't want a lot of fuss

For dinner
Red Lobster
Olive Garden
Longhorn Steakhouse
Applebees
Bonefish Grill
Cracker Barrel
Chuy's - Mexican
For Take Out
Panda Express - Chinese
Culver's - burgers

Can honestly say we have never had a bad meal out there so whatever your tastes you will be spoilt for choice.

You may find this map which shoes the main restaurants nearby helpful :

Sadly one or two have closed (really miss Sweet Tomatoes) but others have opened but this should help your research.

I'll take Longhorn at Rolling Oaks as an average - about 3 miles. All the others I've mentioned are within a couple of miles of Longhorn.

We discovered Longhorn back in 2003 in Longboat Key and maybe eaten there at least 50 times over the years.

Turn right out of EI upto the 4 way junction with Formosa Gardens Boulevard and turn left. At the 192 turn left for Longhorn. Red Lobster is on that corner but in our opinion Bonefish is much nicer for fish

PS Assume you're driving. Do you need a link to the DIBB driving guide?

Time for a bit of steath boasting if you don't mind. We're both 75 and both post-cancer but have been lucky enough to have been 37 times and hired a car every time. Would have been 40 times now Go twice a year cancer and Covid permitting.

Never spent a single night in a WDW hotel, apart from MCMCP in 2014 we haven't been to a park since 2010 and what I know about Uber can be written in 72 font on the back of a stamp. You won't see me posting on any of that. But I've driven in excess of 50,000 miles I guess over there and love posting about driving, car hire etc.

All DIBB guides are prepared, edited and updated by DIBB members. I've edited and added bits to this over the years.

Going out shortly for an hour or so but happy to bore you to death with driving stuff later.
